Toyota GR86 Prices & Markups

Across 1,088 listed Toyota GR86s nationwide, the average markup is +$173 vs MSRP and 60% are listed at or below sticker, with a median advertised price of $37,737. Updated daily.

The GR86 is Toyota's lightweight rear-drive sport coupe — co-developed with Subaru, who builds it as the BRZ. A 2.4L flat-four makes 228 horsepower; six-speed manual or six-speed automatic, no AWD option. The mission is purity over horsepower.

Two trims: Base and Premium. Premium adds the larger wheels, the heated seats, and the better audio; the Base is the lighter and more focused pick for track use. The TRD Special Edition adds Brembo brakes and SACHS dampers — a small-volume halo trim worth watching for.

Pricing has eased compared to the post-2022-launch period. Below-MSRP GR86 deals are increasingly available in most markets, particularly in Texas and California where Toyota's sports-car allocations run deeper. Manual transmissions outsell automatics in this segment by a wide margin; expect manual versions to sell faster.
