VINdow Sticker is an independent research tool that helps car buyers make smarter purchasing decisions by bringing transparency to new car pricing. We track every new Toyota, Lexus, Hyundai, and Cadillac vehicle at every US dealer — updated daily.
The Problem
Buying a new car has always been an information asymmetry problem. Dealers know exactly what every competitor charges, but buyers are left guessing. Are you getting a fair deal? Is that "market adjustment" reasonable, or is the dealer across town selling the same car at MSRP? Without data, you have no leverage.
The traditional car-buying experience relies on this information gap. Dealers add markups, mandatory accessories packages, and dealer-installed add-ons that can add thousands of dollars to the sticker price. Some dealers price fairly. Some don't. Until now, the only way to find out was to call every dealer individually.
Our Solution
VINdow Sticker levels the playing field. We collect publicly available inventory data from manufacturer websites every day and organize it into a searchable, sortable database. For every vehicle, you can see:

How It Works
Every day, our automated system scans dealer inventory listings from manufacturer websites across the country. We parse each vehicle's VIN, MSRP, selling price, options, colors, and dealer information. This data is compared against previous snapshots to detect new arrivals, price changes, and sold vehicles.
The result is a comprehensive, daily-updated picture of the entire new car market for the brands we cover. No phone calls. No dealer visits. No guesswork.

We started this project because we were tired of the information asymmetry in car buying — dealers have all the data, and buyers have none. We built the tool we wished existed when we were shopping for our own cars.
