Toyota Crown Prices & Markups

Across 1,219 listed Toyota Crowns nationwide, the average markup is -$103 vs MSRP and 58% are listed at or below sticker, with a median advertised price of $51,707. Updated daily.

The Crown is Toyota's executive sedan — a hybrid-only lineup that replaced the Avalon in the US lineup. Two powertrains: the 2.5L hybrid (combined 236 horsepower, XLE and Limited trims) and the more powerful 2.4L Hybrid MAX system (combined 340 horsepower, Platinum trim).

The styling is unusual — somewhere between a sedan and a crossover, with a higher ride height than a typical sedan. Some buyers love it; others find it visually inconsistent. The interior, particularly on Platinum, is genuinely premium and benchmarks the segment well.

The Crown Signia is the wagon-shaped sibling that joined the lineup for 2025 — same powertrains, more cargo space, and a more conventional appearance. Pricing on both Crown sedans and Signia has been negotiable since launch; below-MSRP deals appear consistently. The Hybrid MAX Platinum holds firmer because of the more powerful drivetrain.

Only about 80% are actually available. 20% of the 1,219 listed Toyota Crowns are already spoken for — pre-sold or on a dealer hold (allocated to a customer), not really for sale. Don’t trust an “in stock” label: confirm a specific car isn’t a hold before you drive over.

Price range: $40,494 to $60,769.

Markup Distribution

How the current Crown inventory splits across the markup spectrum. The shape matters more than the average — a tight cluster reads very differently from a bimodal market.
