The Tundra i-FORCE MAX is the hybrid version of Toyota's full-size pickup — 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque from the 3.5L twin-turbo V6 paired with an electric motor. It's the volume powertrain on Limited, Platinum, 1794 Edition, and Capstone trims; mandatory on Capstone.
Compared to the non-hybrid Tundra, the i-FORCE MAX is meaningfully quicker off the line, tows better under load, and returns slightly better real-world fuel economy. The premium is roughly $3,000 over the same-trim non-hybrid version — a reasonable trade if you tow regularly or value the acceleration.
Pricing on the Limited and Platinum is increasingly negotiable. Capstone, the top-trim hybrid-only flagship, holds firmest — dealer markup remains common, supply is thinner, and the buyer pool is less price-sensitive. The 1794 Edition splits the difference — luxury appointments and Texas-specific styling, with pricing that often negotiates by $1,500–$3,000.
