The Tucson is Hyundai's volume compact crossover and a serious value-play against the RAV4 and CR-V. Three powertrains share this model bucket and the dedicated hybrid/PHEV ones: a 2.5L gas (volume), a 1.6L turbo hybrid, and a 1.6L turbo plug-in hybrid.
Five trims: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, N Line. The SEL Convenience package is where most buyers land — it adds the safety suite and the larger touchscreen without pushing into Limited pricing. The XRT is the rugged-look trim; the N Line is the sport-tuned trim.
Pricing is competitive. Hyundai's incentive stacking is more aggressive than Toyota's — below-MSRP Tucson deals are routine, often with $1,500–$3,000 in stacked manufacturer rebates plus dealer concession. The Limited trim is the most negotiable; the N Line and XRT hold firmer thanks to higher demand.
