The 2024 Santa Fe redesign reshaped the model — the boxy, upright body, the elevated greenhouse, and the Land Rover-influenced styling are a deliberate departure from the previous generation's curves. Two powertrains: 2.5L turbo gas (277 horsepower) and 1.6L turbo hybrid (separately bucketed).
Five trims: SE, SEL, XRT, Limited, Calligraphy. The XRT is the rugged-look variant with a slight lift, all-terrain tires, and unique styling — Hyundai's response to the Toyota 4Runner-curious buyer who isn't quite ready for a body-on-frame SUV.
Pricing is heavily negotiable. Hyundai's incentive stacking on the Santa Fe is aggressive — $2K–$4K below MSRP is common on SE and SEL trims. The Calligraphy and XRT trims hold firmer; the Calligraphy in particular pulls from a buyer profile that's less price-sensitive.
