The Kona is Hyundai's subcompact crossover — sized smaller than the Tucson, priced lower, and styled distinctively enough that it pulls from a different buyer profile. Two gas powertrains: 2.0L (147 horsepower, FWD or AWD) and 1.6L turbo (190 horsepower, N Line and Limited).
Four trims: SE, SEL, N Line, Limited. The SEL is the volume pick; the N Line is the sport-tuned trim with the turbo engine. The Kona Electric is sold under a separate model bucket.
Pricing is heavily negotiable. Below-MSRP Kona deals are routine — Hyundai's incentive stacking is particularly aggressive on this model, with $1,500–$3,000 off sticker common on SEL trims. The N Line and Limited hold firmer thanks to lower production share and higher demand.
