The IONIQ 9 is Hyundai's first three-row EV — new to the US market in 2025, built on a stretched version of the E-GMP platform. Three motor configurations: Single Motor RWD, Dual Motor AWD Long Range, and Performance AWD. EPA range tops out around 335 miles in the Long Range configuration.
Three trims: SE, SEL, Limited. The Limited is the loaded executive trim with the leather and the upgraded audio; the Calligraphy variant sits at the top of the lineup. Supply remains limited as the model ramps to full production.
Pricing has been firm since launch. Below-MSRP IONIQ 9 listings are uncommon at this stage of the model's introduction; expect pricing to soften over the next 6–12 months as inventory builds. For buyers who specifically want a three-row EV that isn't a Tesla Model X or a Kia EV9, the IONIQ 9 is one of the few options in this segment.
