The IONIQ 5 is Hyundai's flagship EV — built on the E-GMP platform shared with the Kia EV6, with charging speeds, range, and packaging that put it among the most-recommended EVs in the segment. Multiple powertrain configurations: SE Standard Range (168 horsepower, 220-mile range, RWD), SE/SEL/Limited (225 horsepower RWD or 320 horsepower AWD, 245–303-mile range depending on configuration).
The Limited AWD is the trim most buyers should target — it has the longer range, the AWD setup, the heated and ventilated front seats, and the head-up display. The XRT is the rugged-styled variant added recently. The IONIQ 5 N is sold under a separate model bucket.
Pricing has softened significantly through 2024–2025 as the EV segment has matured. Below-MSRP IONIQ 5 deals are routine, often with stacked federal and state incentives, manufacturer rebates, and dealer concession bringing effective prices well below sticker.
