The Elantra N is the performance variant — a 276-horsepower 2.0L turbo, available with a six-speed manual or eight-speed DCT, in the same compact sedan body as the regular Elantra. The closest direct competitor is the Honda Civic Si and Volkswagen Jetta GLI; performance-wise it's closer to the Civic Type R.
Single trim — Elantra N — with the only major option being the transmission choice. The N package includes the launch control, electronic limited-slip differential, and N-specific suspension tuning. The interior gets sport bucket seats and N-specific styling.
Pricing on the Elantra N has been firm since the 2022 introduction. Below-MSRP deals are uncommon; dealer markup occasionally surfaces, particularly on the manual transmission version. For buyers who want a true sport sedan under $35K, the Elantra N is one of the few remaining options and likely worth picking up while still in production.
