The CR-V is the best-selling compact SUV in the country and one of the highest-volume vehicles on this site. Two powertrains: the 1.5L turbo gas four and the two-motor hybrid — and in our inventory the hybrid trims (Sport, Sport-L, Sport Touring, TrailSport) clearly outnumber the gas EX and EX-L trims, a good read on where demand has moved.
Trims. EX and EX-L are the gas-powered value trims; the hybrid ladder runs Sport, Sport-L, and Sport Touring, plus the rugged-styled TrailSport Hybrid added recently. All-wheel drive is widely available and dominates the northern-market inventory.
A data note: Honda's inventory feed does not publish dealer selling prices, so VINdowSticker tracks the CR-V by MSRP, trim availability, and where inventory is concentrated rather than by live markup — you won't see a below-MSRP figure on Honda listings the way you do on the trucks or the Subarus. In practice, steady CR-V demand keeps dealer discounting scarce and the vehicle holds its price better than most of the segment. Inventory is deepest in California, Texas, Florida, and the Northeast.
